Watershed Stories Workshop at Sugar House Park

  • Sugarhouse Park 1330 2100 South Salt Lake City, UT, 84106 United States (map)

Come be part of Watershed Stories, a special public art project that will reawaken the Seven Canyons Fountain at Liberty Park with a sound installation, filling the space with the sounds of the Salt Lake Valley’s streams.

Your voice will help restore the fountain’s life! Join us at our free workshops, where we’ll use drawing and voice recordings to capture our unique experiences with the waters of the Salt Lake Valley. At the end of the workshop, you’ll have a chance to share your personal memories, reflections, and stories about the valley’s waterways. These recordings will later be featured in the sound installation at the Seven Canyons Fountain.

Watershed Stories is funded by the Wake the Great Salt Lake Project Grant, supported by the Salt Lake Arts Council, Salt Lake City Mayor’s Office, and Bloomberg Philanthropies Public Art Challenge.
